Surgery to repair or replace torn or damaged tendons in the shoulder’s rotator cuff is known as rotator cuff repair. Four muscles and tendons work together to stabilize the shoulder joint, and they are called the rotator cuff. During the procedure, tiny incisions are made and the damaged tendons are sewn back to the bone using sutures or anchors.
